Death in the fog

Written by: Russell Sivey

The wealthy woman walked across the yard Whilst the ground was still wet, moist Grounds was covered in fog She shivered due to the frigid air there The grey backyard was scary With the raven flying Dressed in all black she looks for her true love Not knowing death’s befallen Her eyes flutter around Still to this day you can hear the ruffles Of the shifting of her clothes Whenever there is fog Raven still flies at night looking for death Not that of her true loves plight But of her own demise
