I’m who I am,
‘Cos I was made so.
You’re who you are,
‘Cos you were made so.

I can’t be you,
‘Cos I am me.
You can’t be me,
‘Cos you are you.

So, why are you me?
When I’m already me.
And why am I you?
When you’re already you.

It’s inane to have me, as you,
And to have you, as me;
‘Cos you were made you,
And I was made me.

You can’t be me,
And I can’t be you;
As it’s better you as you,
And me as me.
