Stinking thinking

Written by: Carl Fraser

A barren man
 in a barren land,
Not welcomed by my own kind,
Peeking through curtains stained
by my own pain,
My soul beckons for the end of time.
In this hollow shell
 dwells my own hell,
Tormenting me day and night
So ive chosen to embrace
 being alone in this race,
Rather than expose my deepest fright
So is it so odd
I still cry to God
To please come set me free
From thoughts unkind
 in my shattered mind,
Please God rescue me from me.
