You have to struggle to be someone you‘re not You can’t relax or you’ll lose the plot So sad that you can’t ever be “me” You strive to be someone you’re not meant to be When you don’t succeed you beat yourself up Then all you senses run amuck You take a dive and don’t think straight Then yourself you begin to hate As time goes by the hate increases The striving and straining never ceases Oh how I wish you would just surrender To the one whose love is just so tender To just be who you were designed to be It is only then you will be happy and free To be the precious person our Father loves so I know one day I will see it and I will see you grow To be the man you were designed to be THANK YOU JESUS
