escape wishlist

Waking up on this side of the bed , opening eyes to a crowd of vultures,
Different colors, traditions and cultures
I yell and try to get up ,all of them have a face
With horrid, eyes drooling lips, no grace
I wish I knew them better, I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect, I wish they see me large

Dodging each one of them , I fall down, their claws all around
My clothes are ripped, I'm bleeding, no humans found
Every beast I come across , takes me back to history
Same old stabs , same old misery
I wish I knew them better, I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect, I wish they see me large

Dragged to a side they look at me with selfish desires
I had no escape , they gathered up with eyes of fire
The faces were humans, everyone I knew
Chanting out my name, I was once in their crew
I wish I knew them better, I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect, I wish they see me large

Chest pounding,palms sweaty, pulse racing
Staring through the messy hair ,they're slowly approaching
They laugh , mock, point and say
Oh mary you're just another prey
I wish I knew them better , I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect. I wish they see me large

Either give in to their brutal gaze
It would not hurt they said its a piece of cake
Is that the purpose of my reality?
they knock it down, I cry as it breaks
I wish I knew them better , I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect I wish they see me large

I'm sorry vultures , I cannot quit
Its something I so strongly believe in
So either walk away and find another feast
or try biting on my bones , I'd still resist
I wish I knew them better , I wish they see my heart
I wish they respect, I wish they see me large
