Staying in front of the mirror
Looking at my reflection

I bear resemblance to mother
With one small exception

All of these scars that shaped me
I know their history

For everyone else even friends
It’s one big mystery

Some of them can be seen, touched
The rest will not be found

They lie deep in my body, hidden
And will never heal

These hurt the most, always bleeding
My sadness is their meal

One thing hurts much more than them
Everything I feel

Each thing that happens to me
The Truth - These I’ll never reveal.
