Time and again life refused to oblige
After all the strivings it took to finally fall
Perched on patience we did bide time
Enlisting divinity which played hide and seek
Singed , torn , frayed and threadbare often it lay
To arise as often to be fed by hope and love
Regenerative tidings to follow where
Yesterdays faded in festive fanfare.
