Where Thy Light Is Shed

Written by: Christopher Steven Coan

Shall we say of sorrow spent?
What of weeping eyes?
What of winter and its fall,
And of heavy skies?
Yea, a-thousand tears arise
Not a one shall fall
Of the Lost so deep within
One is found, and all
Spring; the hope of lovers still
Boundless and in breath
Stir so deep--in life abound
What to us is death?
Shall we bear theses blooms to life?
Raise thy weary head
Come to reign, oh Golden Sun
Where thy light is shed
