You're really this tepid In your dealings with Me, Warm upon the first taste On my tongue, But The pleasantries don't last For long They disappear like the smoke From the mug And your coldhearted laugh Chills me from my teeth To my bones And I fall prey To the joker, the freezing sludge That brewed in the pot Like the sugar I added that Simply dissolved, I am useless And you are far too strong And just when I think I'll Pour the whole thing Down the sink, I knock it back and drink I need the caffeine, After all
