Just For Me

Written by: Paula Swanson

The sheets are washed, the beds are made, dust bunnies are rounded up. The floors are scrubbed, windows sparkle. All washed, are the plates and cups. Now is the time, that I can sigh and take some time for myself. Sit on the porch and watch the sun, sink below the mountain shelf. And with a blaze, it comes alive, bringing twilight to my day. I sit in awe, of the glory. There are no words I can say. That can describe, how I feel, when humbled by such beauty. I want to cry, and send out thanks, He displays it here, for me.
