A Weak Request

Written by: Tammy Armstrong

Someone who looks just like me
Is going to come to call,
I need you to ignore them
Cause they’re not me at all.

They walk in desperation
And easily are swayed,
So if they say they love you,
They won’t by the next day.

So when they knock, don’t answer,
Or bar the door with wood;
Avoid this person at all costs --

Because I never could.
