I do not mean to be so detached
Or sharp in tongue and short of fact
I back away from confrontation and the might of your judgements
In turn I hide my true self of which I am content
And keep you at arms length, away from minds eye
No blasts of emotional was never taught how
And should pass that on to kin ?
As if shrugged away and tainted by touch
An embrace or praise should not distress
Stains and flesh crawls
Leaves vulnerable, naked, open
