Far Away

Written by: Mark Norton

          Far Away

The bones that often ache with age
Carry their life's emotion,
When softly blow the winds of change
Into the sadness of our farewell,
Yet we search alone through the valleys and hills
For the light of a bright tomorrow
While a man in some desolation sits
As bygone was this beyond

Souls of souls go not to souls
For somewhere far away the memories fade,
But in the quiet of evening we are content
Though it is too dark, too cold tonight.
Still shade us this redemption faint
When darkness turns to day,
Then the lies be held in places mad
While truth is kept for sanity
