Things Have Changed

Written by: James Loggins

I am surprised to see you again
After wondering so long where you have been
I admit that I have thought about you
But I am afraid that we’re through

You may be very kind and pretty
But you left me for another man in the big city
You left me a bitter, broken man
So I suggest you call back the moving van

And get out of my life
You are no longer my wife
So just please leave me alone
Go back to your career, your cell phone

Just do whatever you want to do
But know this, I do not love you
You can beg, you can plead
All you want but I don’t need

Any of the hurt you caused me
You are nothing to me but a bad memory
I think it is time for you to go
Things have changed between us that you should already know
