Gaia

Written by: Brittany Gentry

The Wind, see it move.
The trees, the grass, the world 'round.
Beauty in plain form.

A maiden so fair,
She's strong, loved, feared, worshipped.
A maiden not tamed.

Gaia, our mother,
She's a dream and a nightmare.
Unpredictable.

The sunrise, sun set,
Another day in her arms,
But then we grow up..

She's nothing to us,
Gaia is another planet,
That scientists probe.

Smashing my belief,
That my goddes is not real.
Why do this to us?

She is our mother,
Our home, who's wedded to our God.
We worship the earth.
