THE LIGHTHOUSE

Written by: valeria iliadou

A lighthouse standing upon a breath.
Seems like it's trembling, soaking the darkness around.
A corner's simplicity enlightened and pure,
As white are the dreams we chase but not touch.
A soul standing upon a journey.
A procedure unknown and we call it ''the day''.
As Sun is risen above our hands
Forgiven are not the eyes that don't dare to see.
Each virtue and each honor the trophies
Of persistence to the ocean's ending
Yet the world rests in the infinity.
A man is standing upon a dream.
Memories and flaws floating on his veins,
Bloody condemnations
He chose.
Whether he walks a dark or bright path
Darkness and Light he holds
As eternity shows the truth
He ignores.
