Death of an Aquaintance, Daily 19

Written by: Autumn Ehrhardt

19: Weary faces look over the unwritten memoirs.
The death of an acquaintance quakes little tremors.
Legs caramel and long extend off the tattered couch,
Under the old blanket that covers her just that much.
Embroidered flower swirls hide the silent ancient song.
We are powerless when death’s musician hits the gong.
