God of My Heart
O dearest of dears, the god of my heart, flee.
Yesterday thou withstand with me
And tomorrow I shall wait for the time to fetch
My empty secret thoughts, no one knows how I love you so much.
I plead, O god of distress during sunrise,
To desist the punishment you befell on my frailty;
Dissolve the clouds of tears present in my skies
And unchain the pain; hasten, O god of uncertainty!
Worry not for I shall live but with pieces shattered
Like death, someday but already mourned.
