Pollution of the nation

Written by: Pt. Bojosi Ditshwele

As I walk on the streets of my home town
I see boys and girls in small clusters
They are swimming and bathing in alcohol
Swimming and bathing with reckless abandon
From paper and grass they are creating clouds
Inhailing and exhaling clouds that smell to heaven
Oh, how badly then I feel my soul broken
As I think deeply about this
Not because I want to think about it
But because it is feeding on my soul
My vision is stretched beyond the horizon
The future unfold before my eyes
There I see, a nation of drugs and alcohol
Abuse victims awaits, producers of bitter fruits
A nation with no sign of life but death
A polluted nation with no achievements nor a vision
