In The Chill Of The Midnight Air

Written by: LEON WILSON

The icy chill of the midnight air
The cold wind blowing turns white my hair
From snow like crystals falling so bright
As I walk on my own in the chill of the night.

Its bitterly cold and my hands have turned blue
I'm so weak and so tired I'm not sure what to do
The temperature is falling I can't see a thing
The snow in my eyes is beginning to sting.

Uncontrollably I shiver as the cold rushes in
Arrows of ice penetrate all my skin
The cold and the pain it's too much to bear
As I walk in the chill of the midnight air.
