The little,big girl

Written by: Lord Addo-Yobo

She sits with the innocence of a twelve year old,
But of her likes, stories remain untold,
She smiles with a heart of gold,
Showing the very feelings she wants to grow cold,

So many silly thing does she despise,
But for such, her heart's desire doth rise,
Her friendship and affection does she price,
However, she opens her gates in friendship's stride,

She walks in resolute haste,
Allowing her little self marred in fragile paste,
She concludes discussions in a resolved state,
But confused, she consults at an unsettled rate,

In her mind surety's wind whirl,
Proving a world full of swell,
No matter how big the world in which she dwells,
She is still a little girl,
