Bones

Written by: Stefania Carmen Misaila

I’m in your bones,
Your monochromatic
Glue bomb,
Sweet and sticky
From all that heat.
You know what I am
And where I usually hide,
Inside your perfect chest,
Penetrating the bone.

I’m going to find out
Soon enough
Why you cut your hair,
And why you think
It’s fair
Not to forget it
Inside a notebook.

I loved your hair,
Your monochromatic mane.
I felt it in my bones,
And rushed inside you
Deeper.
You know you can’t escape.
I make you lose your mind,
I make you talk in maths.
You can’t run from
Our biology,
I can feel the chemistry,
It’s pure physics, honey,
And there’s nothing you can do.

I’m in your bones,
Your black and white
Veins,
Your reddish skin
Is me,
As I run inside you, deeper.
