REMEMBER TO BREATHE

Written by: Astrid Ivy Gibbs

So soon you forget me, when work comes in play.
Out of sight, out of mind while you're on display.

Didn't you say, this would not stress you out?
It is what it is; just a paycheck no doubt.

I can already tell you are working too hard.
Impressing the bosses who turned in your card.

I am still here when you remember to breathe.
Or hold it all in as you puff up and seethe.
