Morning 5 Hurricane

          Morning 5 Hurricane

One flower almost gray but visibly not
Brushed by a breeze along the corner
Open to suggestions
In concrete wetness
More than several shapes take hold
Spin in
In Place
And at turns to be made left or right of reason
As gray turns to black
Pressure rises
Barometers break
They can’t seize the moment alone
Palm trees hang like suspended paragraphs
On news wires leaning
Hurricane 5 uproots them all in time
As lines dangle in pain
Without a moment’s notice
Roads clear
No traffic… No trees… No people…
All moved off in an instant
With the mystery of the storm
