Wedding Day

Bare feet in the sun
kissed sand, he
stands waiting.
His love for his
bride he takes
pleasure in stating.
Beside him his boy,
the other love of
his fortunate life.
To make a family, a
union, addition of a
mother, friend,
A man with a big
heart, a soul
completed by her
faithful love.
A marriage blessed
by the stars, the
moon and God above.

Bare feet walk along
stone steps, into
the sand her toes
She looks upon the
face of the man she
loves so very much.
One breath by one
breath, step forward
she steps into the
Her heart is open to
a family, a
friendship, a home
with love pure.
Building a
foundation on
family, two soul
mates become one.
Upon the beach
witnessed by many,
blessed by the waves
and sun.

Congratulations to
the groom and bride.
Smiling so sweet
with joy, happiness
and pride.

For my dear friends
who wed Saturday
May their marriage
be blessed :)

Such a lovely poem, Casarah! The setting is beautiful and makes a fitting picture. I am sure they loved this (I would have preferred it to any other present!) // paul

Hi Casarah, a poem for your friends on there wedding. I am sure they will enjoy reading It. Well, I can say I did enjoy reading It. It definitely touched the right place In my heart. I could walk Into this one and be a part of those watching the ceremony. You gave your piece a life of Its own. It flows gently through the mind on the ethereal breeze, such beautiful Images It does conjure. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

I have given a wedding poem to a few folks but never heard back from them if they even liked it or not. haha. thanks for catching my typo. Someone else informed me of it too. I was racing like the mad hatter yesterday here!

This is so romantic, I felt like I was there. Change witness to witnessed and it will be perfect. Hugs Rick.

A wedding by the sea.. The waves clap in applause.. To hear "I do's" they seem to pause.. With setting sun leaving many awes.. Yes, a wedding by the sea. Next time who will it be...
