THIS MUST BE LOVE

I remember a time I saw you smile
And I stopped and looked
Even stared for awhile
Cause you just have that way with me
Especially when there's a band
I hate to admit, but it's true
I'm putty in your hands

So let's hit the floor and dance away
When we are all done
Now will be yesterday
And ole Frank would be real proud
Girl, my feet are off the ground
This must be love, yeah.. It's love
'Cause my head is in the clouds
I'm in the clouds...
This must be love, yeah.. It's love!

*Frank is in reference to Frank Sinatra.. Tune is Big Band

This is so sweet and light, love it alot, nice job, it's fun to read something like this exspecially after what I just finished. The city of lost souls, my first work to be finished for holloween, my favorite season next to Christmas, yes a little early yes I know but when in the muse a poet must do what a poet must do. Last year I was called the Queen Van Dam of sinister for a reason, and man do I love that title. Next will be the vamperic prayer. cheri

Got me humming "Why can't this be love" by Van Halen..I could see Frank singing not dancing.

Dave: I like this. It overflows with poetic music; it's palpable. I especially like the cadence you create in the last four lines of the second stanza (makes me want to dance). Fine job.
