To a Long Lost Friend

I would cry but I won’t
I will die but I don’t
All the tears to shed, screaming emotions
I hide.
Like my sister you were one who always cared
But now you’re far away.
I want to cry but I won’t
The hurt’s inside
Why hide it when I cant deny it?
We did not grow up together, you and I
But somehow you had my heart before you knew me
Gonna miss you in this journey
What kind a journey to travel without a friend.
It’s rough it’s lonely but I’ll make it when memories push me on.
Just tell me one thing
Just one thing that you wont forget
Don’t forget the books we carried
The hurdles we jumped
The papers we wrote
The weights we lifted
The laps we ran
We’ll keep running
Because this track of life doesnt end now
It’s just in a new stadium
Where you get the credit u deserve.
I have no gold, silver, bronze
You wont get any blue, red, or white
Just my trust and friendship
Don’t stop smiling
Manifest ur glory within
Don’t forget me
Cuz then I’d have to cry
I wont cry and wont mope
Least I wont let you see me do it
Cuz u gotta keep runnin in this game
And my tears wont push u on.

I understand u
Cant reprimand u for the mistakes u’ve made
hurt other’s have hurt
things gone wrong lifes not perfect
but some things in this life are
friendship is perfection in disguise
perfection is friendship’s guise
material shmerial o my god
my god why hast tho forsaken
friendship
when there are no real friends left
no people on this earth
who are real people 2 me at all
the real ones are dead
dead in my mind
in the sea
why has they forsaken me?
