Like the handsome Narcisus of Oscar Wilde,
Retold by Coelho, or like a playful child
Who keeps a shinning mirror in his hand ,
I try to regain the wonder of the forgotten world,
And the living drop of leafy light lavished by Lord:
That what may deserve a candle burning the desire
To be contemplated in my verses; or else , sadly to retire.
Because only together, a lot of candles may make visible
With their light the reverberation of Light infinite divisible.
