About This Poem
Sweet Emily
God sent an angel
down to me,
someone to love
unconditionally.
She is beauty
and full of grace,
a gift that I
could not replace.
I never knew
that I could feel,
so much love,
it seems unreal.
I want to hold her
everyday,
and keep her safe
in every way.
Every time
I look at her,
there is no doubt,
that's for sure,
that God and heaven
do exist,
on this fact
I must persist.
Because His love
was sent to me,
through my own
Sweet Emily.
