The world’s biggest drum has the diameter of 15 ft 6 in and a depth of 6 ft 3 in.
The world’s biggest drum,
Is the biggest one of all.
15 feet 6 inches is the width,
And 6 feet 3 inches is how tall.
Now there it was long ago,
The first time it was played,
It was on Saint Patrick’s Day,
And I was in the parade.
That time when it was played,
It went very, very far,
It was heard throughout the whole Ireland,
The sound went faster than a car.
Then it suddenly stopped,
And a sound of great cheering came out,
Out of the crowd of joy and wonder,
Came one loud cheering shout.
To this moment I remember,
That Saint Patrick’s Day.

That wonderful day.
