Comparison

The tall colourful trees,
the wide blue sky,
the vast, serene ocean,
and mountains so high.

The blossoming flowers,
the cool, refreshing winds,
as the rain showers,
the birds begin to sing.

They join in a cheerful chorous,
which seems to silence all,
even one so loquacious;
would be appalled.

Natures obvious beauty,
man's abstruse cruelty.
Nature's saporific innocence,
man's absurd nonsense.

Many of us don't care,
but just for a moment;
take a minute and compare.
