About This Poem
Victim
I will not be a victim
to my circumstances.
Even though I've been bruised,
beaten,
left for dead,
I will not be a victim.
I have left myself
in the worst situations.
Wasted away
by my own self inflictions,
but I will not be a self created victim.
I have a purpose,
a meaning,
meant to stand up tall.
I have been made special,
created solely by a true God,
and He did not create me,
just to be a victim.
