Perspectives

Perspectives

Living the illusion of what should be.
Never seeing the reality
Hoping for things that will never come
Your life feels like it is all undone

Waking each morning hoping for hope
Finding there is nothing, not knowing how to cope
Relationships come and go, like ships out on the blistering sea.
Looking just for the one that fits me.

What is the answer to all of this I do not know
I wish I had them so that I could go
Right now I feel so incomplete,
So out of touch with reality

Family, friends and a love that never ends
We have all heard that story before.
Happy endings, that pie in the sky
While some of us are trying to figure out how to die.

Maybe our perspective is all out of joint
We live out our lives trying to figure out how to live.
When all the time we just needed to live and let live.
By the time we are finish it has all passed us by.

Awe sometimes the thought of that make me want to cry.
