Soon my prince will come

while the spring sun conquers her sky
every breath sigh crystallizes less
darkness of winter has still a blind eye
the maiden sun displaying her finesse
the fading glory of a passing night
the only residue maidenly fields
illuminated with stars so bright

while the spring sun conquers her sky
starlings decorate a bare tree
singing their joyful spring song
about crocuses coloring shamelessly
the maiden sun displays her finesse
a silent message coming along
the rabbits conquer their playground
tiptoeing intersecting tracks of footprints
silence fades into their drumming sound

while the spring sun conquers her sky
she evaporates thinnest wintry ice
slowly delicate vapors ascend
earth no longer a freezing device
the fading glory of a passing night
spring will become everybody's friend
a cloudless blue sky caresses
her sun shines lovingly and warm
in seconds she dresses

even the fish in my pond
are dancing their first ballet
the algal turning awned
the waterlily preparing her bouquet
while the spring sun conquers her sky
covered with a thin frozen shield
a silent message coming along
first leaf announcing the re-birth of her green field

while the spring sun conquers the sky
her exhibitions the applicable art form
displaying first her floating green quince
dressing up for the seasonal reform
paving the path for a fresh batrachian prince
darkness has no longer a black eye
every breath sigh crystallizes less
while the spring sun conquers the sky
paving the path for a fresh batrachian prince
