I have become light, shimmering with glorious love,
There is nothing between me, the Lord and His angels,
Peace replaces pain, Halleluiah eternal! All is well,
My voice lifts in harmony. Praise be! I’ve come home!
Oh, joy, I approach the unchained gates of Heaven,
I'm an unleashed prism racing to my loved ones.

First, I tenderly gaze down at my special someones
who must persevere, live on, as they continue to love
without conditions. My dears, I've made it to Heaven...
How can I explain that I'm spirit but in no way angelic,
and I retain golden days, the shared warmth of home,
echoes of celebrations? Family, you're my wellspring!

I see my mother and her smile shows me she’s now well,
My dad and stepmum wave, but I’m watching my little one
who left us before birth; the child who went straight home
to God. Miraculously, he’s both man and boy, alive with love.
I hear the music of nations, translated by a host of angels
and I perceive so much more, the revelations of Heaven.

The colours are not those of humanity, but softer, heavenly,
I’m filled with wonder, beholden, feeling truly welcomed.
Bliss, I’ve been returned to the garden, scented by angelica,
Lilies of the valley and blooms of the sun. I witness one
transcend my disbelief, grow gems. Solomon’s lovers,
reign with devotion, grant me my pardon, this homecoming.

Completely fearless, this orphan, for a time homeless,
needs no entreaties to enter the gateway of Heaven.
I pause, feel with amazement my maker’s undying love,
Take in the magnitude of this sense of wellbeing,
Aware that this priceless gift will be denied to no one
who has been kind, true and paid heed to guardian angels.

My past has been forgotten. Fact, I was no angel,
but I opened my bible, trusted in the journey homeward,
Now I'm the spirit of all, the merged souls of everyone,
And I let myself stream into the near realm of Heaven,
A sinner sainted, stains untainted, the dead made well,
Gone, flesh, gone too, my shadow. I am only pure love.

I am the breath of angels, a kiss blown from heaven,
Praying man drinks from the well and follows the path home,
Please, care for one and all and have faith in the cycle of love.
