I

I put myself upon the shelf
afraid to take share with someone else
I have been hurt so many times
my fear is getting deeper as the time goes by.

I put my fear upon the shelf
giving it up might just help
all that I am afraid of will soon fade away
as the night sky turns to day

Now that I met you
I took my life back down
you helped me grow,I am wiser now.

Right beside you is where I stand
you are always beside me to help me

Though I am scared to go away for the longest time
just mentioning your name keeps me calm inside
