Across The Bay

Across the bay I happily saunter
Consuming the cold fresh air
Revitalising the lungs in need of repair.
On the dirty sand I stroll
Submerged with smelly weeds
Swept up but the huge undercurrents.

The feeling of unsociable state of the ambiance
Harmed the magnificent bracing view from the horizon
Enriched by the sailing of the merchant ships.

Bewildered by the state of the bay
Anguish overpowered my love for the open environment
Yet admiring the mysteries of our natural world.

I could just picture myself strolling along the beach thinking all these things. Well done.
