Silky White--Satin Smooth

The scent of Jergen's almond cream envelops me, remembering White essence of the lotion, pure assures my heart, that she was here She's in my dreams, to ease the dawn White porcelain, her hands become The touch embraces time tonight I feel them pass across the light There is no blossoming of any tree No solace that can touch the quivering to match a keepsake memory that comes back for my company The hand that touched my face, with vows To soothe the shattered heart, and brow was white, and cool, was satin smooth and calmed the troubled seas,.... somehow

This reminds me so much of my grandmother !!! Her scent was always of Jergen's almond scent. Such an elegant woman with the creamiest white skin and gentle, oh so gentle her nature. Congratulations on your first place win in Francine's contest as well. A beautiful flowing poem... love it !!!

You have made a beautiful nostalgic poem with this theme. Is it your mother, Carrie? That is who I am thinking.
