This is a story about a girl I once knew,
She had these big eyes that were ocean blue.
Her hair was finer than silky string,
It sparkled like a diamond ring.
Her skin was smoother than the Milky Way,
I love you that’s all I have to say.
One day we'll meet again,
Hopefully kissing under the stormy rain,
Will you be my girlfriend once again?
Remember the first time you gave me your name,
You answered like you took a shot and aim,
Hitting me with an emotional bullet,
Is my heart going to beat fast like it going to explode, will it?
This day was brought by fate,
Two years later we went out on a date,
But you never came, thought you were late.
Till I drove past your house full of police,
I picked up the phone to call your niece.
She told me you got shot twice, now you’re dead.
I sat down and cried, till my eyes bled
Why'd you leave me so soon already?
I found out the killer's name was Eddie.
I went into his house and busted it down,
I saw him crying with a frown,
Then I realised wait a minute,
I was the clown.
She had him as another man,
I said sorry and left like, dam.
She played me like a fool,
Leaving me to drown in a pool,
But that was just my tears,
Leaving me heartless without any fears.
Two years went down the drain,
I never want to remember you again,
Memories must vanish, like us kissing in the rain,
Two days later I got smashed in a car accident, loosing everything including your name.
Now that I don't remember,
Were you alive last September?
I regret saying what I said,
This is leaving me emotionally dead.
I relax a little thinking on my bed.
I never knew I'd be the one who cared.
Not knowing that I love you still,
This is making me spiritually ill.
Everyone else's name stayed in my mind like a stain,
Why can't I remember your name?
