Mother Nature

Nor'easter, bearing down
Come to whitewash, our little town
Plans we had, have come to naught
In Mother Nature's arms, we're caught

We'll dig out, when she goes away
But, it's so cold, it's no fun play
We hope this is, the last we'll see
But Mother Nature's, no still bee

She throws her mischief, every where
Drops in on lives, without a care
What can you do, she's in charge
And when she stomps you, those boots are large

We'll try to appease her, come the spring
With flowers, and plants, and birds that sing
As for now, we'll watch her show
Warm inside, by fires glow

Hi Steve. Love this poem but hate the winter. Thanks for digging us out of the snow every storm. Isnt it great how even snow storms can bring you inspiration to write something great. Nice job.
