Angel Reveal Yourself
Angel there who lives in me
Reveal to me your mystery
They say that you be formed from love
You’re messengers from God above
Angel herald in my light
And let me see it shining bright.
I picture you in shiny sheen
In my visions you be seen
With wings of golden gossamer
I see you there, my heart you stir
As heartstrings play a symphony
Oh little angel I love thee.
I’ve felt you in my heart at times
Oh sweetest angel, mine, all mine
There was just softness in the air
I felt your essence everywhere.
Oh Angel show yourself to me
Oh, such a boon to me you be
Oh Angel, please, yourself reveal
I know, your presence I can feel
Yet give me just one closer look
Are you like a picture in a book?
Little angel, hear me, do
Let me see your form so true.
I’ve heard folk say you be not real
You be just fiction some would feel
And yet that softness in the air
It be a feeling oh so rare
When felt it takes away all doubt
One knows there’s angel’s all about.
