The Twilight of Memory

Since I did not glance
at the passing of my time
mirror on the wall
I witness a fading frame,
all I’ve left is this inside.

It sounds like an introspective man is taking stock, hopefully in a loving and gentle way my friend, we are all aging and yes, I too don't glance in that little mirror wall as much but oh the smiles I sneakily hide inside, when I think about the wicked things I did, hummm, have a good day my dear, and for goodness sake, be good to that aging man, love & hugs xxx
