Too Much Fun

Too much fun and daring ever,
The days of my adolescence,
When feelings strong enough to shatter,
Charmed by a lovely presence,

It was fun to be with peers,
The youth the age of mine,
Right or wrong we did not care,
Fantasy were our minds,

My youthful years were fun,
Of alluring dire desire,
Indulged 'til strengths were gone,
We wicked play the fire,

Foolish youth we strove to gamble ,
In reaching high the height of fun,
'til our world was blown out like bubbles,
Daring acts the shame we shun,

From foolishness I now awake,
Too much fun is like a whore,
Instrument of Satan's trick,
Made our hearts impure,

'cause youngsters always look for fun,
As if it's happiness,
The elder's counsels all we spurned,
Then earn the agonies,
