Listened to "Lonesome" all night long. Will listen again tonight. It's hypnotic. L, Bev

I really appreciate this poem's rhythm and rhyme. The quandary to be faced is vexing, for when the feeling's gone, there is not power in the universe to make it return. The heart has turned aside. Very enjoyable write.

This poem has a nice lyrical quality. I like the "Win some . . . lose some, Lonesome" hook. It works well here. The narrator sounds kind of resigned to his fate, like maybe this isn't his first (failed) relationship? Anyway, I didn't mean to get all analytical. Good work.
