Seasons Change

Seasons change
Even when love remains
It's not the same

It's a cycle in constant motion
Dying, reborn, and still it's growing

And autumn takes it's chill
Even when it's dying,
                   ..... it's beautiful still

Bare and vulnerable
With all it's colors set at its feet
It's beautiful
As it surrenders in its defeat

And it seems weathered and in despair
When the color drifts away with the winters air

It hangs in the grey, a dark cynic
Beaten and broken
Then a ray of light beams
And hope has spoken

It's there the warm comes again
And the sun it.... Shines
And the broken and the weathered
Catches the fire of the horizon

It blooms at the finger tip of change
At the touch of light
Something green, new, and fresh
And overdue
Naive and full of life

Just a leaf of hope in the sunset
But soon a field of flowers
Once Spring's dew's wept

Pleasure and pain
That's the season of change
That's the change in seasons
A change in loves reasons

A reason for the change in love.
