    Dr. Mehta, I have been reading, through your amazing body of work, when I came to this piece. It really touched me. Probably because I have been there, done that as a firefighter. After something like that it is A Still Day that I still regret. Steve

    Powerful piece. Creative how you ended the expectations on a day filled with them for a new year. It intensified the sadness of the poem.

    heartfelt parent's first daughter was a still-born... they never talked about it much to us other children...but we visited her grave often....poignant piece, nicely penned though...
