                               INTERRUPTION OF SOLITUDE

                                Cloud caressed rock face
Cycles of ice hide from wicked wind-- cling
                                Without your consent

                                Uninvited frigid fingers
                                Disturbing peace

John, thanks....I was looking at a beautiful misty mountain---suddenly the north wind blew in from the sea--the mist was gone, and the mountain was covered in ice cycles. It happened so quickly that I was amazed that the beauty could change so quickly--also the 'tone' of the beauty, went from the serenity of the mist, to the wild ice storm--all happened within minutes! (And I usually love the ice cycles, but at this moment they were interlopers!)

Love this Haiku. The best one I've read in a long time. Not sure of your intended meaning. I first saw icicles as the interlopers. The uninvited frigid fingers that cling without consent. But then I thought it could be Old man winter's frigid boney fingers, uninvited, touching everything and disturbing the peace. Either way it is an excellent write.
