Ordinary Bed

I look inside the room and see an ordinary bed
The one where you used to lay your head

Sturdy wooden sides so firm and so strong
We laid there together, where we both belong

The bed seems so empty and sad without you
Such an ordinary bed can make me so blue

The pillows are soft and still hold your smell
They drink in my tears, I’m still under your spell
