It can be so hard and punishing to become the object of violent obsession, to become the targetof lust's anger, it can be so painful to survive victimhood, but every hero must learn this horror. You are a Heroine to me Bindu...J.A.B.

So on to better things right, about my Midnight write yes she is a beautiful black lab and shep mix, all black with brown eyes, more like a child than a pet, you see Bindu a year ago I had a heart attack and collased in the shower, no one heard me cry out except my Midnight, she climbed in the shower and put her full weight onto me until I woke up, she seems to know me better than myself, for if I'm ill she never leaves my side, so she deserves this write. cheri by the way I love dogs two.

I understand this more than I wish to confess, my first husband was a very mean man, but I was raised even if was a mistake of a marriage you were bound to tough it out, but I didn't want my two daughters to think that men were aloud to treat a women like this so I made up my mind to get out before he ended my life which could have happened. But my second husband whom I meant years later has been my salvation, he has always been my life partner and so much more. I got lucky cheri

"Proximity would rain blows that blinded Submission would color revulsion darker Her fragile body would stiffen to endure As her steel mind sprouted wings to escape" These fours lines are beyond epic, Bindu. :) Beautiful masterpiece. Nice and twisted beginning to end...I liked how this poem was wrapped up and started to unwind quickly.. it was a good read. Will read more of your work soon...must catch up with sleep soon! :) The rhythm is flawless in this piece. Nicely written today! -sinc., DWB

A very powerful write, Bindu. I can feel the fear and the deep emotions coming through in your words. I am sure that this was not an easy subject to write about. I admire you for being so bold! Amazing work, as always!...Thank you so much for the great comments on my latest poem!

Bindu.....I did read this several days bac and it so disturbed me. My dear....I hope that this isn't true to life..for how can one endure this on a daily basis? It breaks the heart. You have captured what is the reality for many women....May they find coping mechanisms to survive. Hugs

I am reading Nettie s comment and yes it does relate to sleeping with the enemy..This is very profound..painful and deep.I hope she finds her freedom.Unfortunately many suffer abuse in silence.Touched my heart.

Oh my, this one causes my heart to ache. No one should have to endure such a betrayal of trust. Using a marriage licence to hunt is an extreamly powerful metophor and play on words. A very powerful piece Bindu.
