This is awesome. The poem is about wisdom, and how we acquire wisdom through experience, mistakes, and trials. Yet also, the entire poem is one big chunk of wisdom! It is explained at the end: When faced with trials, we have a choice Let pain consume us, or in life rejoice This poem is gold.
